INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TODAY
It is a common thing today to see an average person who owns a laptop, iPad, pocket PC, netbook, Android, notebook and other handheld electronic devices for the purpose that is best known to the owner (thanks to Information Age Era). However, the capability of these IT electronic devices is the most important justifier of the price tag attached to them. The owner must therefore take full advantage of their vast capabilities; any form of underutilization will be wasteful
It is worthy of note also, that the advent of social connectivity/productive websites/software like Facebook, Twitter, Skype instant messaging clients and servers etc. is changing the way we communicate and relate to those important to us; hence the need to learn and be proficient in handling your device.
The greatest key to taking advantage of your I.T gadgets and productivity devices is to be a perpetual student who learns something new everyday. The starting point is the owners' log manual, and then take advantage of the online access available on most of the devices by searching for new/unfamiliar items on search engines(like Google search, Bing, Wikipedia search, etc). There is almost nothing that you find on these search engines and you won't almost get quick answers, you can even search for this blog.
The I.T world has a lots of acronyms and abbreviations, while it is not compulsory to know all of the definitions and meaning of these acronyms/abbreviations, knowing a handful of them will help the end user to have a full grasp of how things run in there. The next post will feature a list of common acronyms and their meanings, a close look at them will help increase your IT knowledge base
